along with foil-wrapped gifts. I bracketed the shot on 35mm Fuji SensiaChrome 100 to optimize shutter speed and fstop before exposing five rolls of 120 film. After developing, the positive was mounted between cut printed card stock for that "mounted slide" look. The rich colors really shine through on the film allowing the reds and golds to come to life.
This was my first year integrating photography into my Christmas card design. I chose to use a 6x6cm 120 positive as the medium instead of the more common print. The idea for the positive as a medium came from photographer Dave Smith of Pittsburgh in his previous year's card.
